It i...Behind closed doors is an appropriate title. It is time that the laws protect women even behind the door of their home. It is sad that the most dangerous place for a woman is in her own home. <BR/>I am also a victim and survivor of domestic violence. I have recently written a book that give alot of answers to how this can happen. The book strongly represents that we need to address domestic violence for the children. You see 80% of incarcerated individuals grew up in abusive homes. How can these children in these abusive homes respect and obey the laws when the laws did not protect their family when they were children. <BR/>As well as loosing respect for the laws because of the lack of protecting, Christians need to not turn their back on domestic violence because it also sends a message to these children that God does not love them. <BR/>Knowing that God loved me despite what my abuser told me was the only reason that I feel that I could finally escape.
